An innovative way to stop the cars of criminals escaping from the police
Pacific Scientific, a company that specializes in making defense laser systems and electronic safety means, has invented a new device called “Pit-Bull” to stop cars fleeing from checkpoints at bumps on the roads.
This device works to stop cars that run over the speed bump at the checkpoint at a speed of up to 65 km per hour, or if they pass the military points that are forbidden to enter without exposing the security men to any dangers.
The operation of this system begins with the presence of hidden screws installed inside the bump, and when a speeding car passes the bump, these screws are released in less than 20 seconds to dig into the wheels, pulling with them a net that encircles the front wheels to stop the movement of the car completely.
The price of this industrial bump is $29,000, and each copy contains a net. An additional set of nets can be requested, at a price of approximately $3,000.
