Ma – along with a
student from another
class, entered in the
FIRST Lego League
Robotics competition in the fall. We won 2nd in the Toronto West Division, 3rd in the city, and 2nd in the province. Our robot won first place for design, but because we got second in performance, we did not win the provincials. If we had won that competition we would have gone to compete in Atlanta for the worldwide finals.

Since the competition, we have been invited to perform at several other competitions.
